f you see that one of your devices appears as "Inactive" in the Thea section of your Account, it means we are not receiving data correctly.
Why does this happen?
Generally, inactivity is due to the following reasons:
- You haven't used the device in the last few days.
- The Thea configuration was not completed or has been modified.
- Your device's operating system has limited the app's permissions.
Steps to reactivate Thea on your Smartphone or Tablet
Follow these steps in order to become "Active" again:
-
Check the alerts in the Thea App
Open the Thea app on your phone. If a step is missing, you will see a message like "Action Required" or "Configuration Incomplete". The system will guide you directly to the relevant section.
-
Configure Battery Optimization
Go to your phone's Settings > Battery (or Apps).
Find the Thea app and ensure it is set to "Unrestricted" or "Don't optimize".
-
Verify Accessibility Permission
Go to Settings > Accessibility.
Look for Thea or Nicequest and make sure the toggle is set to "On" (Activated).
-
Access to Usage Data and Notifications
Usage Data Access: Look for this option in your device settings and verify that the app has been granted permission. This is necessary for us to send you your Korus for app usage.
Notifications: Make sure these are allowed so the app can alert you if a configuration error occurs.
Steps to reactivate Thea on your PC
If the inactive device is your computer, make sure the Thea plugin is installed and active in your browser. Once verified, perform a search on the Internet so the system can detect activity.
When will I see my status as "Active" again?
Once these adjustments are made, it will take approximately 24 hours for the status to update in your Nicequest profile.
